Bard College has 18 courses in operation in New York, Chicago, Massachusetts, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Washington D.C., Seattle, Arizona.  Bard College has also assisted five other colleges/universities—through the support of a prestigious dissemination grant from the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (F.I.P.S.E.) of the U.S. Department of Education—in establishing neighborhood humanities courses.
